Well, now that the solicits are out, I can finally talk about a couple of exciting new one-shots due hitting the stands in June ’08. Both of them are a nice change of pace from my titles so far which have been myth based.

We both are big fans of Guy Ritchie movies like SNATCH, LOCK STOCK and we long wanted to do a slick action-comedy set in Mumbai. Saumin’s art for this so far is absolutely fabulous and I hope you like this one.

Created by West Coast Customs from MTV’s Pimp My Ride and TLC’s Street Customs, join Slade, G-Boy, Grease Monkey, and The King from Weson on the road to redemption in this dystopic world where the only real freedom is on the open road.Author’s Note:West Coast Customs presents Ryders is a sci-fi post apocalyptic vehicle vigilante tale that sort of comes from a dystopian post apocalyptic world like that of Mad Max or Interstate 76. It’s got fast cars, bandits and a fascist city state with its own vehicle vigilantes, what more can you ask for? And it is done in collaboration with the Pimp My Ride guys!

whew! The DEVI arc Karmageddon (#11-#15) is done. Saumin is hard at work on DEVI #15 as i posted earlier and that looks awesome.

We got some of the hottest artists on the block today to do some covers for DEVI next arc (#16-#20). (Yeah! I’m doing that one too ).

First up is DEVI #16 and #17 covers by Luke Ross (SAMURAI : HEAVEN and EARTH).

Finally they are here

I am writing three titles for Virgin Comics and they hit the stands in May 2007.

First one is of course Virgin’s flagship character DEVI #11 onwards which shall be hitting the stands 23rd may 07.

The second one is called Deepak Chopra’s INDIA AUTHENTIC which is a reimagining / retelling of iconic Indian myths. Issue #1 is on GANESHA, perhaps the most recognizable of the Indian Pantheon.

I was so excited about finding my name in the Diamond Comics preview catalog and immediately bought a copy

The third series i am writing for Virgin is their other popular character SADHU which I shall be writing from Issue #9 onwards.
